Liberation Practice Field
Fall 2026
Practice Abolition. Live Liberation. Build the World You Long For.
You’re here because you’re…
burned out from care work, organizing, or holding others.
stuck in repeating patterns of conflict or avoidance — tired of ruptures that never heal.
longing for community, but unsure how to belong without losing yourself!
spiritually connected but disconnected from your body’s wisdom.
aware of your politics, yet unsure how to embody them in relationships. (Abolition ideas are just good ideas in the ethers but not habits you can live from… yet.)
skilled at analysis, but not at staying present when things get hard.
carrying shame, grief, and tenderness that have nowhere to go.
isolated in your healing — trying to do the collective alone.
sick and tired of your wounds. (You know them like the back of your hand, but you can’t seem to transmute them alone.)
ready to lose the identity built around your wounds.
Imagine…
Offering apologies without shame, and engaging in repair without avoidance
Feeling seen, understood, and loved for who you are in community
Expressing your needs and boundaries without collapsing into guilt or fear
Holding rage, grief, and joy in ways that deepen relationship and connection
Bringing abolitionist somatic practice into your communities, movements, and family systems
Responding to conflict and harm from a place of embodied care rather than urgency or reactivity
Transforming patterns of separation into avenues for healing and belonging
Being able to hold and witness others’ pain because you’re learning to hold and witness your own
Remembering and activating the ancestral wisdom already stored in your body
Liberation Practice Field
is an 8-week course built around four liberatory needs, each connected to an elemental season & explored through somatic practice.

The Somatics of Attachment Theory
Air Season

Finally, we arrive at authenticity, desire, and the emotions of shame and disgust. Fire illuminates the spirit, inviting us to step into truth and vitality.
This season centers around themes of sovereignty, agency, interdependence, and purpose.

LPF is not for you if…
You’re seeking a casual drop-in group or monthly membership.
You’re not willing to be accountable to a shared practice space.
You want quick fixes or purely intellectual engagement.
LPF is for you if…
You seek somatic education that deepens your understanding of how trauma shapes the body — not just individually, but collectively.
You desire to learn embodied practices that help heal and reconcile systemic wounds reflected in our shared nervous systems.
You are drawn to a radical approach to healing — one that integrates justice and directly addresses the effects of capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy on our bodies and nervous systems.
You’re ready and willing to engage with courage, curiosity, and care — even in discomfort.
You want to bring what you learn into your relationships, movements, and communities.
You long to join others equally committed to practicing liberation now.
What do LPF alumni say?
Before LPF I felt wrong in so many ways - about my anger and my reactions and my trauma. LPF has been a loving and firm practice field - raw, honest, and real but also gentle, curious, and compassionate. I've developed better ways to communicate with others, especially about responsibility, integrity, boundaries, shared meaning and goals. It has been a whole body experience and I'm grateful.
Whitney
2025-26 Session
I have done a somatic course before, but LPF brings it to a new level with a focus on liberation. I will cherish the mindset shifts more than any specific skills.

2025-26 Session
I feel like I'm really stepping into my power! I've grown capacity in staying with myself, in my body, with my feelings and what move me. Through this I've been able to engage in difficult conversations, speak my mind despite fear and engage in fruitful conflict that has expanded my intimacy with my close ones in ways I don't think I'm even able to fully grasp yet.

2025-26 Session
What I love most about this program is how you’ve intentionally equipped participants with so many different ways to meet ourselves with compassion and radical love. Such powerful frameworks and THRIVANCE skills! What a beautiful curation of guest speakers too!

2025-6 Session
If you are seeking ways to deepen your relationships, learn about the interconnectedness of abolition & the body/somatics, feel more confident in determining what spaces are for you, AND have the opportunity to connect with & learn from an exceptionally diverse group of people who see liberation as a continuous practice, then LPF is for YOU.
If you are an imperfect person in search of a container for deepening self-love/desire as well as embracing your hurt/rage, then LPF is for YOU.
If you want to grow & be fed in spaces that center Black, Indigenous, queer & disabled experiences, then LPF is for YOU. <3

2024-25 Session
You’re in for the most transformative, expansive, world-building experience! I’m forever grateful and deeply honored to have been part of the first round of Liberation Practice Field. I caught glimpses of what it feels like to live ungovernable. To care fully. To embody agency rooted in safety, dignity, connection, and belonging. We are not meant to do this alone.

Meet The LPF Team
Care (they/them)
I’m Care, a light-skinned Black trans nb somatic practitioner, doula, artist, and the founder of Erotics of Liberation.
I started LPF in 2024 as a year-long course that teaches the somatics of abolition & the erotics of liberation. LPF was the first somatics course to feature ONLY Black, brown, and/or queer teachers.
Now LPF is an 8-week intensive to make the course more accessible. Let’s get to work, y’all !
Niké (she/her)
As your community support for LPF, my role is to support community needs and help make this an inclusive, accessible, empowering space for everyone.
Let’s be real, this work can go deep, but it doesn’t have to feel scary! The more we lean into community and inclusion, the more liberation we all have.
Jess (she/her)
I'm the course manager at Erotics of Liberation, which means I'm usually behind the scenes handling all the logistics.
From call replays to course updates, I'm here to help things run smoothly so you can focus on your practice.
